# What makes our Platform different?

The ShardStarter project is designed to accommodate new projects at any stage of development, from onboarding to launch. The process starts with reviewing and advising on protocol mechanics, tokenomics, and other aspects of the project. The team then helps create foundational documents such as investment decks and marketing materials. Potential projects are then introduced to the ShardDAO, a community of VCs, angel investors, and industry experts, for evaluation and voting. If approved, initial funding rounds commence and the project builds its community through the fundraising process. Upon completion of initial fundraising and community growth, the project enters the ShardStarter ecosystem, and an IDO date is announced. $SHMX stakers can then decide to participate in the launch, with investment levels determined by their staking tier. After the successful fundraising and TGE, the ShardStarter team continues to provide support and guidance through regular check-ins and support calls, with regular updates on the project's progress through our discord forum.
